With Willmore SLAM, events begin at 12 Noon at Cesar Chavez Park. These are family friendly events by The Jewel Box Children’s Theater Group https://www.facebook.com/willmoreslam/
Procession at Victory Park begins at the southeast corner of Pacific and Ocean at 5:30 p.m. Come prepared to stand in the sun if you are participating in the procession. Be as comfortable as you need to be and we encourage everyone to come dressed in white. Men and boys are welcome to march with the Men’s League. It will take approximately 20 minutes to get to Cesar Chavez Park.
There various parking lots in downtown Long Beach. There will also be transportation available to anyone who cannot walk the entire procession. There is also parking available at Cesar Chavez Elementary School.
We suggest participants arrive early at Cesar Chavez Park with blankets and chairs to reserve a spot at the amphitheater for ” Tea with Alice and Me” at 7:30 p.m.
